6 years of 'Rockstar': Here's looking back at Ranbir Kapoor's most epic movie

Imtiaz Ali's 'Rockstar' releasd on the 11th of November 2011 and today, 6 years later we're looking back at this epic Ranbir Kapoor movie and wishing that there was a sequel. The movie didn't just become a cult film but struck the right chords with many. It's a well-known fact that Ranbir is probably one of the few actors that can create magic on-screen but what he did in 'Rockstar' was even better. His breathtaking performance hit many the right way and audience actually managed to resonate with the film. The heart and emotion of the film were immense which makes it why we love it so much.
And while the screenplay, cinematography and music were great, we can't help but fixate on the dialogues in the movie. From ones like "zara si savdhani, zindagi bhar asani" to "tu na badi cool lagti hai mujhe aur hot bhi kitni hai tu", the dialogues made us smile as also think twice about them. The dialogues were relatable and they made entirely for the movie. They truly are the reason this movie is fresh in everybody's minds and far from being a 'memory' yet.
Probably one of Ranbir's best performances, 'Rockstar' is a movie that we can watch on repeat and bet you can too! To celebrate 6 years since it released we're off to watch some re-runs...and you?
