Shah Rukh Khan's Eid celebration this year just got bigger! Apart from the fact that the actor will be celebrating the festival with family and close ones, the Badshah of Bollywood also completed 25 years in the industry. Being a part of the industry for nearly three decades, Shah Rukh, on the occasion of Eid and on completion of 25 years, organised a celebratory event for the media to interact with them. Here's all he spoke about at the Eid celebrations with media.
02/11On completing 25 years in the industry
I got to know yesterday that I completed 25 years, I feel good that I have been giving a service. It's half my lifetime and I can only thank people for bearing me for so long with so much love.
03/11When Shah Rukh spoke about his children
One request for all the photographers - if you take pictures of my kids, just take one or two and leave. They are not movie stars, they happen to be children. If u see them publically don't assume they will handle you the way I do.
04/11On Suhana's acting career
My children will finish their studies before they get into films. In my house, there is a rule that one should be a graduate. Suhana has many years to go to finish her studies and then she can act!
05/11When Shah Rukh got us thinking
I think when you have children you start becoming gentler. Being an actor I will bring those things in my acting. I do think good things and no bad thoughts and like to read things about how people think.
06/11When he spoke about his film with Aanand L Rai
My film with Aanand L Rai is about a vertically challenged person. To make such a film in India is indeed special. The film is like 'Hobbit'. We are waiting to show the film and plan to finish shooting by December. We have shot the film in Goregaon, Mumbai.

I get to know through the social media that people come from a long distance to meet me. I'm so thankful! My neighbours get upset, there are traffic jams... I am so sorry and I wish my garden gets bigger so that everyone can come in.

I am thinking of cooking for my kids today since all three are here. Only recently, I cooked. And my daughter Suhana tasted and said 'thek thak ban gaya' (laughs).
09/11Shah Rukh on his children learning religion
Children and grown-ups should learn about religion themselves. As a child, I used to accompany my father to Ram-Leela, and I want my kids to learn about religion on their own. I am reading Mahabharata and I tell the stories to AbRam . I think it's the greatest story that has been ever told!

Just because I don't have parents anymore, the last few Eids I spent with them and their friends, we used to keep the celebrations simple.
