Aaliya Siddiqui’s 'Holy Cow' unveils first images in Cannes

Aaliya Siddiqui’s “Holy Cow” unveils first images in Cannes + Q&A with filmmakers - Paris-based Ghosts City just joined Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s wife Aaliya Siddiqui’s YS Entertainment in Mumbai on “Holy Cow” a comedy written and directed by Sai Kabir (Revolver Rani). Sanjay Mishra, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Rahul Mitra, Sadia Siddiqui and Mukesh Bhatt play the lead characters in this Indo-French collaboration currently in post-production. Nawazuddin Siddiqui features in a special appearance role in the movie. French composer Mathias Duplessy provided the background score.






Director Sai Kabir and Mathias Duplessy, together with Producer Aaliya Siddiqui and Co-Producer Franck Priot (Ghosts City) attended a special presentation of a promo reel for media and buyers and to take questions from the floor at Cannes Market’s screening.



Holy cow is a social satire it talks about social chaos of our times. Cow is a metaphor to express larger reality producer Aaliya Siddique intends to make content driven cinema. Says Aaliya the script stuck a cord with me in very first reading. My ambition is to make sensible, sensitive and off course viable cinema after Holy Cow I am working on another ambitious project ,Teejan bai. It's biopic of legendary folksinger Teejan bai my dream is setup a boutique production house not a film factory.
