Aamir Khan: I keep emotion out of workplace

Mr Perfectionist of Bollywood, Aamir Khan, who turned 52 today, celebrated his birthday with media at his residence in Bandra. Sporting a well-groomed beard and moustache, the actor was dressed in a white shirt as he interacted with the media. Following the annual tradition of celebrating his birthday with media, Aamir spoke about his upcoming project, Thugs of Hindustan, nepotism in the industry and freedom of expression.

When asked about what gift is the actor excited for this birthday, Aamir revealed that his mother gives him the same gift every year, his favourite 'seekh kebab' for his birthday. The actor also added that he believes that birthdays are to be spent with family, and he is looking forward to spending some quality time with his family and close friends.

Aamir, who will be seen collaborating with superstar Amitabh Bachchan for his next film, 'Thugs of Hindustan' added that he is very excited for the project. "At this time, I am looking forward to working with Amitabh Bachchan for my next film. This is going to be a very special experience for me," the actor confessed. The actor also dismissed the reports that he will be seen as an astronaut Rakesh Sharma in a soon-to-be-made biopic. Aamir said, "Currently, I am only working on Thugs of Hindostan and shooting will start from July. I did not sign any other film."

When asked to comment on nepotism in Bollywood, Aamir said, "I keep emotion out of the workplace. But yes, I always try to help my loved ones and people I care for."
