Aamir Khan is not taking sides in the Hrithik-Kangana controversy; sources say

Recently, Aamir Khan has been hosting a series of special screenings of his film 'Secret Superstar', for his celebrity friends. While the actor held special screenings for L.K Advani, his 'Dangal' team and another for Sachin Tendulkar, Rajkumar Hirani, Anil Kapoor, Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi, Rajkummar Rao, Nawazuddin Siddiqui amongst others, one of the screenings hosted by the Ambanis had Kangana Ranaut in attendance. Her presence gave rise to speculations. Rumours about Aamir siding with Kangana on the entire Kangana-Hrithik controversy began to make the rounds.

But sources close to Aamir rubbished all such rumours and stated, "It is a known fact that Aamir hosts screenings for Bollywood celebrities prior to the release of his films. Multiple screenings for BTown were held even before the release of ‘Dangal’. To assume that such screenings translate into Aamir siding with an actor just serves to make headlines and holds no truth."
