Aamir Khan turned producer with the 2001 Oscar-nominated 'Lagaan', followed by films such as 'Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na', and 'Delhi Belly'. He minted money with the phenomenal success of ‘Dangal’ which went on to become the highest Bollywood grosser of all time. Recently, when Mr. Perfectionist was quizzed about his successful stint as a Bollywood producer, he humbly gave the credit to the people he has worked with.

"We just make films we believe in. I am fortunate that the writers, directors and other talented people have come to us with films they want to make, as somehow it (referring to films) has worked out well. We have believed in what we made and we've worked with very talented people," Aamir said in a statement.

The actor is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming movie ‘Secret Superstar’ in which he has a cameo and the lead actress is his ‘Dangal’ co-star Zaira Wasim. He is also shooting for ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Katrina Kaif, which will hit the theatres next year.
