Aamir khan's ‘Dangal’ takes box office by a storm, mints a whooping 106.95 cr over the weekend

The much awaited Aamir Khan film 'Dangal' hit the theatres amidst much fanfare. Releasing around a festival has always proved profitable for films as the footfalls in theatres subsequently increase. And the same worked out for 'Dangal' too - a solo release around Christmas the film has a lot to profit from the same.
Just over the weekend, 'Dangal' has managed to touch the 100 crore mark. The film minted 29.78 crores on Friday, 34.82 crores on Saturday, and 42.35 crores on Sunday, making the total a whopping 106.95 crores (Including Tamil and Telugu). The film earned the highest ever on Sunday and is touted to break box office records in the ongoing week.
