Just a few days ago it was announced that almost two years after the release of the film in India, Salman Khan starrer 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' was all set to release in China. While the makers of the film were hoping for good reviews, now it looks like their wishes have all come true. Aamir Khan tasted success in China consecutively for four of his films - '3 Idiots' (2009), 'PK' (2014), 'Dangal' (2016) and 'Secret Superstar' (2017). But now it looks like Salman Khan has hit gold too. Interestingly, 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' earned a whopping amount of 18 crores on the very first day in China and managed to surpass 'Dangal's' first-day earnings of Rs 15 crore.

And this is despite having lesser shows than 'Dangal' had. However, Aamir's 'Secret Superstar' seems to still be in first place with first-day earnings of Rs 43.35 crore. Talking about 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan's' success, a source said, "The viewers have loved Salman and the little girl [Harshaali Malhotra]. We've had instances of the audience dancing to 'Selfie Le Le Re' in theatres." Analysing the film's success, trade analyst Akshaye Rathi said, "It is because their values are similar to ours. The emotions of the human drama have struck a chord with them."
