Aamir’s Dangal dethrones Salman’s Sultan

Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’ has won the battle against Salman Khan’s ‘Sultan’. The film during its secondWednesday the film added 9.23 crore to its earnings and crossed the coveted 300-crore mark. With a whopping figure of 304.38 crores, the film has now beaten Sultan which grossed 300.45 crores at the Box Office. ‘Dangal’ is now the third highest grosser of Bollywood after ‘PK’ which earned 340.8 crores and ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ which earned 320.34 crores.

‘Dangal’ has overtaken ‘Sultan’ even in worldwide earnings. It has grossed over 584.70 crores while ‘Sultan’ had grossed 572 crores in the worldwide market.

The movie has reached Bollywood’s third spot within just thirteen days of its release and experts speculate that it would even beat Salman’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ by its 16th day. Do you think Aamir can break his own record with ‘Dangal’ beating ‘PK’?
