Aanand L. Rai to cast Sonam alongside Shah Rukh Khan in his next?

Just out of the madness of 'Raees' promotions, Shah Rukh Khan is all set to start work on his next with Aanand L. Rai. The only detail about his role in Rai's next was that SRK is going to play a dwarf in the film. However, it was still not confirmed as to which actress will play the leading lady opposite King Khan, until now reports are making rounds that Aanand has roped in Sonam Kapoor for the film.
Sonam recently made headlines when a popular magazine had questioned if she would soon be working with SRK. To this, she said, "I don't think Shah Rukh Khan wants to work with me. There have been so many opportunities where I could have worked with him but he... I wanted to work with him and I reached out to him as well. But I never got the opportunity. I guess it'll happen whenever he feels like working with me."
She later said that she was misquoted in the interview, and rubbished any possibility of the same. However, according to reports in a popular daily, Aanand L. Rai has roped in Sonam alongside Shah Rukh the film where King Khan will be seen playing the role of a dwarf. The report further suggests that Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone were one of the top contenders for the role. But, Aanand was keen on signing Sonam for the film as she is his favourite post they worked together in 'Raanjhanaa', and it is likely that he will finalise Sonam for the role.
