Abhishek Bachchan to start shooting for JP Dutta’s ‘Paltan’

Abhishek Bachchan, whose last outing at the Box Office was 'Housefull 3' last year, is all set to be seen on the 70mm screen soon. There have been speculations about films that the actor has signed on to do, however, Abhishek is soon to begin shooting for JP Dutta's next titled 'Paltan'.
JP Dutta's last outing at the Box Office was in 2006 when he worked with Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan on 'Umrao Jaan'. The filmmaker's 'Paltan' is soon to go on floors and the film stars Pulkit Samrat and Sooraj Pancholi alongside Jr Bachchan.
The film is a war drama and is rumoured to be based against the backdrop of the 1962 Indo-China war. The filmmaker plans to shoot the film in Sikkim and Ladakh. While the lead actors are finalised, the makers are still casting for the film's leading ladies.
