Abhishek Bachchan to play a vigilante in his next titled ‘Lefty’

Abhishek Bachchan will begin shooting for his next in mid-January. The film titled 'Lefty', is about a left-handed vigilante who is on a mission to save the city. The film will be co-produced by Bunty Walia and Prabhudheva will direct it.
A source close to a leading daily revealed, "The film will see Abhishek play a left-handed character (considered inauspicious by some in India) who is on a mission to save his city. A regular guy in the world’s eye, he has special powers that help him sense trouble. Abhishek and Prabhudheva met last week to discuss details of the shoot. The team will leave for a recce in Hyderabad where the story is set, sometime this week."
The makers have not yet finalised on the leading lady, as they want a relatively new face to pair opposite Abhishek. With Abhishek being left-handed, this role will be a perfect fit for the star. A recce will soon be done in Hyderabad before the actors head to shoot the film next year.
