Abhishek Kapoor: Sara is a beautiful bundle of energy

There has been a lot of speculation surrounding Sara Ali Khan's Bollywood. While the star kid was touted to be making her debut with Abhishek Kapoor's 'Kedarnath' opposite Sushant Singh Rajput, the reports suggested that there was some trouble on that front too.

In a recent interview not only did Abhishek Kapoor confirm that Sara is making her debut with 'Kedarnath', he also revealed some interesting insights about the same. Abhishek Kapoor said that 'Kedarnath' is a quirky love story that unfolds during the course of a pilgrimage.

The director revealed, "'Kedarnath' is a love story that unfolds during the course of a pilgrimage. It’s important for me to look within and soak in the vast beauty of our country, culture and stories. India is a treasure trove of spiritual experiences that I want to present to the audience. This is a story that I would love to watch."

When asked about the decision to cast Sara, the filmmaker added, “Casting newcomers is a natural process. We will tell stories with those who fit our vision the best. Sara is a beautiful bundle of energy. The talent we bring in today will be the future of the industry."

While Abhishek Kapoor’s last onscreen outing, 'Fitoor' didn’t do well at the box office, the director is not the one to get bogged down. Talking about failures, the director said, "Failures teach a lot. Fitoor taught me that every idea comes with a budget and one needs to operate within that."
