But with just one day in, 2019 seems to giving it a stiff competition.
Actress Amy Jackson joined in the fiancé club as she took to Instagram to show off huge engagement rock. In the Instagram post, the actress is seen showing off her engagement ring, as her businessman fiancé George Panayiotou kisses her affectionately on the cheek. With the caption, "1st January 2019 - The start of our new adventure in life I love you. Thankyou for making me the happiest girl in the world" Amy confirms her engagement.
With two faces beaming with happiness and love and a beautiful waterfall in Zamibia as a backdrop, it sure made for beautiful frame. The actress had always been tight lipped about her romance with her businessman beau, until Valentine’s Day last year.
The couple were spending the holidays together in Zamibia and had been sharing pictures from their vacation for a while now. From the looks of it, Amy’s fiancé George Panayiotou thought it would be a good gesture to start the New Year with a wedding proposal. We agree too!
