Aditi Rao Hydari on 'Padmavati' controversy: I love my country, but I don't understand it anymore

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's historical drama 'Padmavati' has been in the limelight for all the wrong reasons. The film that stars Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in lead roles has been condemned from day 1 by members of various political parties. In a shocking turn of events members of the Karni Sena have recently threatened to slit Sanjay's throat and burn Deepika alive if the film was released.

The initial release date for the film was December 1, but following all the threats and controversy the makers of the film voluntarily deferred the film's release. Many stars and celebrities from the Bollywood film industry have stepped up in support of the film. Stars like Rohit Roy, Boney Kapoor, Richa Chadha, Ranveer Singh, Farhan Akhtar are few amongst many others who have openly showed their support for the magnum opus. Now actress Aditi Rao Hydari, who also has a part in the film has tweeted about the movie. Here's what she tweeted:
