Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is all set to hit the silver screen on October 28th. However since the announcement of the releas date, the film has been constantly shroudded in controversy. Karan Johar recently shared a video adressing the audience in which he expressed a "deep sense of hurt and pain" on being labelled as anti-national.

In the wake of the current situation, the president of producers guild, filmmaker Mukesh Bhatt along with Dharma Productions's Apurva Mehta & Fox Star's Vijay Singh had a meeting today with Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh.

After the meeting Mukesh Bhatt said, “Rajnath Singh ji assured us 100% support and that he will convey to CM to maintain law and order. Rajnath ji said he will speak to CM of every state and that ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ will release without any violence or issue”

Meanwhile, Pakistan's media regulatory authority has decided to enforce complete ban on Indian TV & radio contents from tomorrow. On this, Bhatt said, “It doesn’t matter to us that Pakistan has banned our content in their country, our content is released worldwide & we don’t need Pakistan.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis too has extended his support to the movie. He said, “Police has taken very strict action on MNS today. Twelve members of the MNS who had gone to Metro theatre to threaten them have been sent to judicial custody till November 4"
