After ‘Secret Superstar’ Salman Khan’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ will now release in China

On Friday, Salman Khan starrer hit film ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ will be released all over China, state media declared on Tuesday. The film was directed by Kabir Khan and the film also starred Kareena Kapoor Khan. Salman Khan stars as Bajrangi, an ardent devotee of Hindu deity Hanuman, who embarks on taking a mute six-year-old Pakistani girl (Malhotra), separated in India from her parents, back to her hometown in Pakistan.


Salman Khan had earlier said, "The story shows that love between people can transcend ethnicity, religion, and nationality.”


Even Aamir Khan's ‘Dangal’ and ‘Secret Superstar’ became major hits in China after their release in the country recently. ‘Secret Superstar’ raked in more than 700 million yuan (about USD 110 million) since its release on January 19. "Drawing lessons from Hollywood films and innovation, the Indian film industry has been focusing on disclosing social realities," said Ding Yaping.
