Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to not work opposite Abhishek in 'Lefty'

Abhishek Bachchan is currently busy preparing for his role as a vigilante in Prabhudheva 'Lefty'. Touted as his 'lead comeback' in films, Abhishek will not only be acting in the film but also co-producing it. If reports are to be believed, considering it was a home production, Aishwarya was keen to be paired opposite Abhishek in the film.
However, sources now suggest that this pairing just may not happen! According to Indian Express, a source close to the production said, "Abhishek is looking out for a fresh face for the film.” Reports suggest that this could be his decision because he wants to be the main face of the film, as this film marks his comeback as the lead.
While everyone including Aishwarya was keen to be a part of the project, I guess we will have to wait a tad bit more to see Abhi-Ash share the frame together! Abhi-Ash along with their little munchkin Aaradhya have flown to Dubai to ring in the new year!
