Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s father passes away

In recent days, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s father, Krishnaraj Rai was admitted to the Lilavati Hospital, and Aishwarya along with husband Abhishek Bachchan was often spotted visiting her father. Reports suggested that his condition was critical, and he was later shifted to the ICU due to his deteriorating condition.
Aishwarya and Abhishek kept aside all their work commitments to be beside her ailing father whose health has been critical since January this year. The Bachchans also decided against celebrating Holi due to his critical condition. It was a rather tough time for Aishwarya who made sure she was always there for her father.
However, reports suggest that Aishwarya father passed away earlier in the day today. Other than Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, who made constant visits to the hospital, Ajitabh Bachchan, Mickey Contractor, Kunal Kapoor, and Sikandar Kher too made sure they were there for Aishwarya during the tough times.
