Ajay Devgn to play the lead in 'Dhamaal'!

Ajay Devgn, who has collaborated with Indra Kumar almost a decade ago in 'Ishq' and made a cameo in 'Masti', is all set to work with the director again. The 'Singham' actor has signed and agreed to come on-board for director's 'Dhamaal' franchise.

Talking about the third part of the hit franchise, director Indra Kumar said, "Ajay, my partner Ashok Thakeria, and I have had a fabulous association. 'Ishq' is still one of the most successful comedy films in Bollywood and here we are, 20 years later, with another family entertainer. The 'Dhamaal' franchise has a strong fan following. Ajay's association makes it even more special."

Ajay Devgn is currently on a much-deserved vacation in Maldives with Kajol and kids. However, a source to the actor revealed, "Like the 'Golmaal' franchise, 'Dhamaal' has its loyal audience. Ajay is glad to reunite with Indra for Total Dhamaal. He is hoping the team will come up with a madcap comedy that will have people rolling on the floor laughing. The idea is to make a full-on entertainer."

While there has been no official announcement about the rest of the cast, sources suggest that talks are on with Arshad, Javed and Riteish to reprise their roles.
