Akshay Kumar apologises and deletes the picture of him holding the Indian flag upside down at the Women's World Cup 2017 Final
Akshay Kumar, who is currently shooting for Reema Kagti's sports drama, 'Gold' in London, attended the India Vs England Women’s World Cup 2017 final at Lord's yesterday. While the actor was ecstatic to be watching the action live, he found himself in the middle of the controversy when he shared a picture of himself holding the Indian national flag upside down during the match.

No sooner did the actor share the picture, he was bashed by trolls on Twitter.

Realising the error of his ways, Akshay has since apologised about the picture. The actor said that it was not his intention to offend anyone and he has deleted the picture from the social media platforms. Akshay tweeted:

Not just 'Gold', Akshay is also simultaneously busy with the promotions of Shree Narayan Singh's 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha' along with Bhumi Pednekar and Anupam Kher.
