Akshay Kumar: Clashes are bound to happen

Akshay Kumar, who is all set to clash with Shah Rukh Khan come August, in a recent interview revealed that he is unfazed by Bollywood clashes. When quizzed the upcoming clash between his 'Toilet- Ek Prem Katha' and Shah Rukh-Anushka's untitled next directed by Imtiaz Ali, the actor remained pragmatic about the same.

Akshay explained, "Tell me a guy who doesn’t have a clash? Clash is going to happen. There are 180 films that release every year and how many weeks are there? Nearly 52. Clash is bound to happen."

In fact, this is not the first time that Akshay has opened about the clash. In a previous interaction, the actor had stated, "My job is to make a movie and I do the best I can. I don't look at it as a clash. Box-office clashes are professional hazards and ideally, they should not have any personal implications. In a situation where we have 200 movies to be accommodated in 52 weeks, clashes have become unavoidable."

However, 'Toilet- Ek Prem Katha' is not the only Akshay-starrer that is headed for a clash. Akshay's '2.0' will possibly have a face off with either 'Tiger Zinda Hai' on Christmas. Also, Akshay's next venture 'Gold' might clash with Neeraj Pandey’s 'Aiyaary' that stars Sidharth Malhotra.
