Akshay Kumar is all praises for Taapsee’s performance in ‘Baby’ and ‘Pink
Taapsee Pannu has just wrapped the shoot for 'Naam Shabana', and it is indeed a special film for the actress. The film is a spin-off of Taapsee's character in the spy thriller 'Baby', and just like 'Baby', 'Naam Shabana' too will see the actress perform hardcore stunts and fight sequences. Though Akshay Kumar was the lead actor in 'Baby', in 'Naam Shabana' he will only be seen in a cameo appearance.

The actor has been in all praise of Taapsee and is inspired by her performances. Talking about the same, Akshay said, "Taapsee did a tremendous job in 'Pink'. I saw her doing the fights in 'Baby' and the kind of action she did, I have seen no female do it with so much perfection. It was very inspiring for me to see her. A lot of inspiration for 'Naam Shabana' came from the way Taapsee performed in 'Baby'."

Taapsee too opened up about her character in the film, and said, "This is by far that one character with which I don't identify at all. But I am a director's actor and do whatever I am asked to. It was interesting to figure out the psyche behind the character. There is nothing common between me and Shabana."

Anupam Kher and Danny Denzongpa, who were a part of 'Baby', will also have a prominent role in the film. Whereas, Manoj Bajpayee and south actor Prithviraj Sukumaran are a new addition to the cast. The film is soon to release on March 31.
