Imtiaz Ali opens up about the Independence Day weekend mega clash between Akshay Kumar and Shah Rukh Khan
This Independence Day weekend is all set to witness a mega clash between Akshay Kumar and Shah Rukh Khan. While the Shah Rukh Khan's next directed by Imtiaz Ali was to release on the Independence Day weekend, due to some technical reasons the release of Akshay Kumar's 'Toilet - Ek Prem Katha' also got postponed.

Talking about this mega-clash, director Imtiaz Ali said, "My job is to make a movie and I do the best I can. I don’t look at it as a clash."

When asked Akshay about the clash, the actor had said, "Box-office clashes are professional hazards and ideally they should not have any personal implications. In a situation where we have 200 movies to be accommodated in 52 weeks, clashes have become unavoidable."

While both the movies are headed for a clash, the title for Imtiaz Ali's next is yet to be decided. Though the names like 'The Ring', 'Rehnuma' and 'Raula' have been floating around, there has been no confirmation as of yet.

Though Imtiaz remained non-committal when prodded about the title, he said that they will settle for a title soon. The director signed off saying, "We don’t have a title yet and the release is so close! Trust me, we’re more curious than anyone else to know what it’ll finally be called. We’ll be finalising on something very soon.”
