Akshay Kumar has a lot going on and it has already been quite a packed year for him after Subhash Kapoor’s 'Jolly LLB 2' and Shree Narayan Singh’s 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha'. Now, the 50-year-old actor has already shot for S Shankar’s '2.0' with Rajinikanth and of course there is 'PadMan'. Reports now suggest that the actor is all set to prep for his next and it will be one that Akshay does best, action! Khiladi Kumar is set to dive into his next 'Kesari', the Anurag Singh film on the battle of Saragarhi in which he plays Havildar Ishar Singh.

The makers of this film have apparently roped in Lawrence Woodward, the stunt coordinator behind films like 'Mad Max: Fury Road' and 'Moulin Rouge' to design the action for the film. A source close to the development said, “Lawrence has already met the makers on his last visit to Mumbai and will be returning in December to start prep with Akshay. 'Kesari' is heavy on action and Lawrence will be training the actor in sword-fighting besides rehearsing for other action sequences, which also includes hand-to-hand combat. They start shooting from the first week of January in Mumbai, followed by a schedule in Wai, a town in Satara district where huge sets of the Saragarhi and Gulistan forts, as well as a village, will be erected and then later at Spiti Valley in Himachal Pradesh."

This period drama has been jointly produced by Akshay, Karan Johar and Sunir Kheterpal and will also feature Parineeti Chopra as Akshay's wife.
