Akshay Kumar: You cannot quote a price on yourself to any producer

‘Khiladi’ Akshay Kumar is prepping to promote his next ‘PadMan’ which has been produced by his wife Twinkle Khanna. The movie also stars Radhika Apte and Sonam Kapoor. Akshay Kumar recently said that he gets clueless about what price to quote for himself.
Akshay Kumar said to a leading news portal, "It became very difficult to quote the price; I don't know what to charge because nobody can come to know what to charge. So the best way is that I make a film, don't charge anything, film releases and whatever the earnings are, I take it. You cannot quote a price on yourself to any producer.”
Akshay has co-produced several movies including ‘Rustom’, ‘Airlift’and ‘Singh is Kinng’. The actor has given us hit films each time. His latest ‘PadMan’ is a story of a Arunachalam Muruganantham, the inventor of low-cost sanitary napkins for women in rural areas.
Akshay Kumar talks about menstruation and why he did such a different film, "If you change nothing, nothing will change. It’s not about being bold, but about breaking taboos that hold us back. I have lived with women all my life, yet I have learnt more about the topic while making this film than ever before. I do not mind who I offend or whose stomach I turn by being bold, this is not the Stone Age; menstruating is natural."
