Akshay Kumar's villainous look from '2.0' finally revealed! The much awaited sequel to Rajinikanth's 'Robot', is to hit the theatres next year. This time the film has only gotten bigger with Akshay playing the role of an antagonist. Akshay's first look was revealed today amidst people from the film fraternity, and the event was hosted by Karan Johar.
Present at the event was the whole cast and crew of the film which included the likes of Rajinikanth, A.R Rahman, Akshay Kumar, Amy Jackson, and Lata Rajinikanth. The team was flown in specially from Chennai only to address this event. Taking about the same, film editor, Vijay Anthony said, "2Point0 is10 times challenging and interesting to work than 'Enthiran'. I have to wear 3D glasses while editing" (sic).
Talking about the film, Akshay said, "I believe 2.0 will create history in Indian Cinema."
The industry came in full support of the film, present at the event was Akshay's good friend Salman Khan who took to the mic to say how excited he was to see Akshay's look in the film. At the launch, director Shankar revealed that there will also be a third part to the film.
The trailer launch of the film was in 3D. And the cast looked elated to introduce Akshay as a new addition to the film.
