Akshaye Khanna: Dad is doing better

The recent picture of Vinod Khanna dressed in hospital scrubs, which has been doing rounds on the social media, shocked all. While the actor's family chose not to speak to media about his health, the statement issued by the hospital confirmed that the actor is on a mend.

Despite the hospital's bulletin, a lot of people have been spreading the rumour that veteran actor has passed away! While the Khanna family has not issued any statement, Akshaye Khanna confirmed that Vinod Khanna is recovering well, and said, "Dad is doing better."

Vinod Khanna had been recently admitted to a hospital in Mumbai, for suffering from severe dehydration. However, there were speculations that the veteran actor was diagnosed with bladder cancer. Though the Khanna family has refrained from talking to media, Vinod's eldest son, Rahul Khanna said, "Dad was hospitalised on Friday for severe dehydration. The situation was quickly brought under control, he’s doing much better and the doctors are looking to discharge him soon."

After Akshaye's statement and the bulletin issued by the hospital, one can surely expect the yesteryear icon to be back soon!
