Alia Bhatt just received a 'welcome to the family gift' from Ranbir Kapoor's sister!

When news broke that Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were officially dating — an announcement made by Ranbir himself, the Internet went into a lockdown and rightly so! The two were officially spotted making a public appearance together at Sonam Kapoor's wedding and since then, rumours of their relationship haven't died down.

Speaking about his new girlfriend, Ranbir recently said, "It's really new right now, and I don't want to overspeak. It needs time to breathe and it needs space. As an actor, as a person, Alia is — what's the right word — flowing right now. When I see her work, when I see her act, even in life, what she gives is something that I'm aspiring to for myself." And while everyone was breathlessly awaiting a statement by Alia, she thought of a more subtle way to bring everyone up to speed about her relationship.

Just recently, Alia took to Instagram to reveal a gorgeous new bracelet that we're probably going to see her wearing very often. Here it is:

The delicate gold and diamond bracelet was given to Alia by Ranbir's sister, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, who has an eponymous line of fine jewellery. And we're pretty sure that it's more of a 'welcome to the family' gift than anything else. Of course, the gorgeous bracelet is deserving on its own too.
Should we take this as proof that things are getting serious already?
