Alia Bhatt nominated for Most Inspiring Asian Woman of 2019 at E! People's Choice Awards

Alia Bhatt is undoubtedly one of the most versatile and talented actresses in the Bollywood industry. Known for her spectacular acting skills, she's beloved both by the audience and the critics. But if you thought she only had fans in India, here's a pleasant surprise for you. The actress was recently nominated for the Most Inspiring Asian Woman of 2019 at E! People's Choice Awards 2019.
The nominations featured a plethora of movies, TV series, pop music and whatnot but what was really pleasing was that it also featured Alia's name. It was such a thrill to see that an International Award show had nominated Alia's name as the Most Inspiring Asian Woman. What's more, Alia was the only Indian celebrity to feature on the list.
She was nominated alongside Thai model Chutimon Chuengcharoensukying, South Korean singer-songwriter CL, South Korean actress Jung Yu-mi, Thai actress Praya Lundberg, Indonesian actress Raline Shah, Malaysian singer-songwriter Yuna and Chinese actress Zhou Dongyu. Votings for the same have already begun and will be open until October 18 while the result of the Award will be announced on November 10.
Well, we for one are not surprised. Alia definitely deserves this recognition. She began her career with 'Student Of The Year 2' and has since then gone on to do such powerful roles that she's left everyone spellbound. Be it the role of a spy in 'Raazi' or that of a poor village girl in 'Udta Punjab', Alia sure has a list of amazing films in her kitty.
On the work front, Alia is all set to feature in three films which are to be released in 2020. She has 'Brahmastra' in which she will feature with Ranbir Kapoor, 'Sadak 2' which is directed by her father Mahesh Bhatt and she's also signed SS Rajamouli's 'RRR'. Stay tuned for more updates.
