Alia Bhatt replaces Kajol as Karan Johar’s lucky charm

Karan Johar has always been fond of star studded movies. He jewels his films with cameos which take the audience by surprise. And Kajol appearing in his movies’ songs has been a time-honoured tradition.
But it seems like Karan Johar has a new good luck charm now. Kjo shares a very good equation with Alia Bhatt. Apparently, the filmmaker picked her over Kajol to appear as a DJ in his upcoming movie ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’s ‘BreakUp Song.
What coube be the possible reason behind this? Well we have a clue. In an earlier interview, Ajay Devgan said “I am not friends with him (Karan). Even Kajol’s equation is not as warm as it was. It is a personal issue… not due to any professional thing. It’s a personal hurtful feeling. It has nothing to do with the clash.”
This is the first time Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in a movie together, even before their first official film ‘Dragon’.
