Alia Bhatt to romance Vicky Kaushal in Meghna Gulzar’s next?

Filmmaker Meghna Gulzar, who’s last directorial venture was the critically acclaimed film ‘Talvar’, is all set to star working on her next movie which is based on Harinder Sikka’s book ‘Calling Sehmat’. Set against the backdrop of the 1971 Indo-Pak war, the story revolves around the life of a Kashmiri woman who is married to an Army officer, who provides Indian intelligence with invaluable information.
“He (Vicky) is in talks for the film with Alia. The film needed a performer like him. But we are yet to sign on dotted lines and figure out the dates and other things,” revealed a source close to the project. Vicky is currently shooting for Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanjay Dutt’s biopic, directed by Rajkumar Hirani
Co-produced by Junglee Pictures and Dharma Productions, the movie is likely to go on floors by next month.
