Alia Bhatt to turn producer?

Alia Bhatt is undoubtedly the most promising talent from the new lot of Bollywood actors. The actress delivered back-to-back hits last year with 'Kapoor & Sons', 'Udta Punjab' and 'Dear Zindagi', and even bagged her first ever Best Actress award. Her last outing' ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’' was successful at the Box Office and although the actress hasn’t signed any film post that, she is in talks to play a Kashmiri wife to Vicky Kaushal in Meghna Gulzar’s next.

The actress has always been a bit choosy about her movies, and wants to go for stories that have never been attempted before. As not many producers feel they want to invest in such unconventional cinema, Alia has decided to produce her own films in order to bring her vision to life. Talking about this a source said, “Alia has certain subjects in mind that she wants to do. But no producer is willing to invest money in such out-of-the-box stories. Alia therefore wants to do her own thing. She will produce films for herself as well as for other actors.”

Well, there’s no doubt about the fact that the actress is exceptionally talented and versatile. What’s left to be seen is what would her first venture as a producer be.
