After all the threats Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has been facing, it's only natural that the actress is feeling unnerved. Police personnel have been posted outside the residence of Deepika Padukone’s parents house in Bengaluru following threats over her role in the Hindi film 'Padmavati', the police said on Tuesday. “Two police personnel have been deployed outside Deepika Padukone’s parents home in J.C. Nagar (northern suburb),” Inspector Girish Naik of J.C. Nagar Police Station told a leading media agency.

Haryana Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Kunwar Surajpal Singh Ammu had offered a reward of Rs 10 crore to anyone who would “behead” Deepika and director Sanjay Leela Bhansali for the film, that is based on Rani Padmini's life. “We do not want to take law in our hands but will not forgive anyone who tries to spoil the image of Rajput kings and queens,” Kunwar had stated.

After all the controversy, fans, as well as celebs from the film industry, have poured out in support of the film. We wonder what other measures will have to be taken to ensure the safety of our beloved Bollywood celebrities. Stay tuned for more updates.
