Amitabh Bachchan gave figurehead of Versova beach clean-up, Afroz Shah a unique gift

Whether it’s writing letters or giving out unique gifts, Amitabh Bachchan has his own peculiar ways of showing that he cares. And recently, doing just that, the actor contributed to the Versova beach clean-up in his own special way. Showing that he cares about the environment and Mumbai, he had the sweetest gift for the figurehead of the Versova beach clean-up, Afroz Shah.

Taking to social media, Amitabh Bachchan recently posted that he gifted Shah, an environmentalist and lawyer, a tractor and excavator for cleaning up the Versova beach. Shah had taken it upon himself to clean the space up and he managed to change the face of the garbage-littered seaside considerably with the help of many celebrities who lent their support to him.  However, he had recently given up the drive, alleging that he and volunteers were heckled and harassed by ceratin goons.

Bachchan has been a vocal supporter of Prime Minister Modi’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. And the actor made sure to take to Twitter to tweet his deed supporting the project. Here’s what his tweet read:
