Amitabh Bachchan hospitalised at Lilavati Hospital

It’s always disheartening news to hear that one of your favourite celebrities are sick or have been admitted to hospital. And if it is the likes of someone such as Amitabh Bachchan, then it even makes it to the headlines. Today, the buzz is regarding just that. Sources have confirmed that the actor was admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai on Friday at around 6:30 pm in the evening.
The actor is being treated by Dr Jayant Barve (who specialises in Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Therapeutic GI Endoscopy). And while news of the actor being admitted has been confirmed by sources, the reasons for which he has been hospitalised are yet unknown completely. However, the buzz is that the actor has been complaining of back and spine pain for a while now and that he has been hospitalised for regular check-ups regarding the same.
An exhausted Big B even took to Twitter after an all-night-shoot for 'Thugs of Hindustan' and wrote, "T 2609 - Just back from an all night shoot for TOH .. now to bed and slumber .. love." Well, we hope all will be well soon and hope to see him all hale and hearty in no time! Here's wishing Big B a speedy recovery.
