When the star cast of ‘Race 3’ was announced everyone was wondering why Anil Kapoor was missing from the whole team. But the wait is over. Salman Khan took to Twitter and shared a photograph of himself along with Anil and producer Ramesh Taurani holding hands with each other.

Salman Khan tweeted: “Inke Aane se Race3 ka cast aur ho gaya jhakas @AnilKapoor @RameshTaurani #Race3”

Anil Kapoor and Salman Khan last shared the screen space together in ‘No Entry’. The two have previously worked in movies like ‘Biwi No.1’, ‘Yuvvraaj’, and ‘Salaam-e-Ishq: A Tribute to Love’.

‘Race 3’ might have Anil reprising his role of a funny cop Robert D’Costa who brought some lighter moments in the otherwise intense narrative. As the first two installments of ‘Race’ showcased Anil playing the role of a light-hearted police officer.

Producer Ramesh Taurani who has been associated with the project from the first instalment welcomed Anil in the best words as he tweeted, “Picture agar Race ho, toh yeh kaise na ho @AnilKapoor He’s coming back to the Race @BeingSalmanKhan @remodsouza @tipsofficial @SKFgroup @Asli_Jacqueline @ShahDaisy25 @thedeol @Saqibsaleem @Freddydaruwala #Race3.”

‘Race 3’ is being directed by Remo D'Souza. The film is slated to release on Eid next year.
