Every first-time Academy Award winner takes home a lot of memories in addition to their trophy. While some have good memories to take home, some have bitter-sweet ones. And 2013 Best Supporting Actress winner, Anne Hathaway has recently confirmed with her latest Instagram post that it's not all cherries and flowers when it comes to the Oscars. Actors seem untouchable and perfect as they walk the carpet, however, they aren't! Well, Hathaway has some news for all of you about what going to the Oscars actually does feel like!

Hathaway won Lead Actress in 2013 for playing Fantine in Tom Hooper's big-budget adaptation of the classic musical 'Les Misérables'. She was seen taking to the stage in a balletic pale pink gown and a spunky short haircut when she attended the ceremony and she looked stunning. Of course, Hathaway looked and seemed elated during her big night. But her recent Instagram post speaks otherwise.

The actress voiced that she was shamed for her nipples showing through her dress. She also voiced that despite being sick, she managed to make her way up to the stage and not just to collect her award but deliver a thank you speech too! Hathaway had to deal with only a fraction of the population, the ‘haters’ and well, we think she looked magnificent out there. We bet the self-depreciating comments she received have not hindered her in any way!
