Slamming the rumours that the Kishore Kumar biopic has been shelved, Anurag Kashyap reveals that the project is all set to go on floor soon
It was after the success of 'Barfi!' that director Anurag Basu had revealed that he plans to make a biopic on Kishore Kumar. While the other details were not clear, there were speculations that Ranbir was all set to play Kishore Kumar in the film. Anurag was still working on the script when the shooting began for the spy-adventure flick 'Jagga Jasoos'.

However, it now seems that this collaboration between the two might not happen! In a recent interaction, Anurag revealed that he might sign another actor if Ranbir is busy. Anurag said, "I don’t know with whom I will make the film and when exactly. After Sanjay Dutt biopic, Ranbir will be busy with another film, ‘Dragon’. I don’t want to wait for too long for my film, so if Ranbir can’t give dates this year, I will go with someone else."

Talking about his much-delayed film, 'Jagga Jasoos', which will release mid-July, Anurag said, "We will start promotions two-three weeks before the release. The trailer will be out by May-end. There are over 25 songs in the film. It’s a musical and we have to convey that to the audience."

Starring ex-flames Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor in the lead, 'Jagga Jasoos' is a spy-adventure musical about a boy in search of his missing father.
