Anurag Basu: Will resolve legal issues related to Kishore Kumar biopic

Anurag Basu's 'Jagga Jasoos' starring Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor, after facing indefinite delays, is finally all set to hit theatres. While the film was announced in 2014, the constant delays and change in schedules only postponed the film further. However, the filmmaker has another ambitious project which is a biopic on Kishore Kumar that he plans to roll put this year.
While Anurag plans to start working on the biopic, the filmmaker reveals that he will have to resolve legal issues before he starts shooting the film. When asked about the biopic at a recent event, Anurag said, "That is one film which I am really looking forward to. But it's quite difficult to make a biopic on Kishore Kumar. There are lots of legal things also when you're doing a biopic. So we are going through all those things, trying to resolve. Ranbir is also looking forward to the film."
As Anurag is currently busy promoting 'Jagga Jasoos', throwing light on the same Anurag said, "I love musicals, all adventure stories and had stacks of Tintin... It was just in the back of my mind and the childhood came out. There was no process, no method in it. When you start writing, you discover your childhood. But the musical genre is very tough. So it was challenging and very scary. But that's what is exciting about filmmaking."
