Anushka Sharma was applauded for her excellent portrayal of Alizeh in Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’. She really did bring her character ‘Alizeh’ to life. However, it seem like the actress wasn’t much of a fan of her character. In fact, she recently revealed that she couldn’t relate to Alizeh at all.

Pointing out the dissimilarities between herself and Alizeh, Anushka said, “I think sometimes it’s not just about physically how you are appearing, sometimes it’s about it could be something in your character that you cannot relate to at all. In Ae Dil… I couldn’t relate to her character, her obsessiveness with this one man. May be because I am not like that as a person. If I feel I am badly treated in a relationship, I will flick the person and be on my way. I couldn’t get my mind around how pseudo and fake she was a person, pretending to be all tough but inside she is a loser.”

Well, she may not have felt the character but she still managed to pull off a great performance as Alizeh. Anushka is currently gearing up for her next release, Imtiaz Ali’s ‘The Ring’ opposite Shah Rukh Khan which will hit the theatres on 11th August 2017.Anushka Sharma was applauded for her excellent portrayal of Alizeh in Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’.
