Anushka explains how being an outsider advantaged her film career

It is not easy for an outsider to make a mark in the Bollywood industry, but Anushka Sharma is an exception to this! The actress made her Bollywood debut alongside Shah Rukh Khan in 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi', and since then there is no stopping this girl. She has given two blockbusters in this year - 'Sultan' and 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil', and is part of one of the biggest blockbusters till date - 'PK'. She has worked with the three big Khans and hardly saw a lull in her career.
It is a belief that star kids have it easy in this industry, but as an outsider one has struggles to face. However, Anushka thinks otherwise. Talking about the same to IANS, Anushka said, "Being an outsider turned out to be an advantage for me. I didn't come with any preconceived notions about the way you have to do things, so I just been exactly the way I am at home."
Anushka has seen her highs and lows in the industry, but no failure really bothers her. Talking about her hits and misses, she added, "It is important to have that sense of reality (that) you will have successes and you will have failures and you will have to be somewhere in between."
