2016 was truly a glorious year in Anushka Sharma’s career. Her movie ‘Sultan’ opposite Salman Khan grossed over 300 crores at the Box Office. ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ also did well at the box office, and her performance as Alizeh was applauded by many. Talking about her future plans, the actress said:

“The general advice is to do as many films as possible because you never know what works. But I’ve only had one really big flop in my career – ‘Bombay Velvet’.”

Anushka is currently working on her pet production ‘Phillauri’ opposite Diljit Dosanjh. Talking about her production house ‘Clean Slate Films’, Anushka said:

“Things are happening very quickly for us. We’re developing film scripts… Backing new talent. There’s no pressure on us, no preconceived notions about the kind of films we should make."

The actress is all set for the release of Imtiaz Ali’s untitled next, wherein she will be seen opposite Shah Rukh Khan. The film is set to release on 11th August 2017.
