Anushka Sharma: Actresses should be hyped more, actors are over-hyped!

Anushka Sharma, who has delivered back-to-back hits this year, at an event spoke about how she feels the man-woman equation in the society is changing. The actress at a recent event said, “I might be totally wrong about it but I believe that women today is changing and people are unable to adjust with it… at least some men are unable to adjust with that probably.”
Explaining her statement further, the actress said, “Today women are changing, their thinking pattern is changing, the beliefs are changing. Somewhere the equation that was there between a man and a woman, today it is not the same." The actress said that it is due to the increasing financial independence that the equation has changed. She said, "That equation is changing because women are becoming financially independent. It is no longer about getting a roof over your head.”
Shifting the focus to Bollywood, when asked about the difference meted out between actors and actresses, Anushka says that actresses have always been good performers. The actress concluded saying, “I think actresses have always been very good performers. Actresses should be hyped more. Actors are over-hyped,” the Sultan actress said.
