Anushka Sharma not approached for Aanand L Rai’s next?

Much has been said about filmmaker Aanand L Rai being on the hunt for the second leading lady for his next starring Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. While Deepika Padukone was the first choice of the makers, the actress turned down the role as the dates of the film clashed with that of her upcoming magnum opus ‘Padmavati’.

While sources had earlier revealed that Anushka would soon be meeting the director for a narration, it seems like that was all hearsay. Clearing the air around all such speculations, Anushka’s spokesperson recently asserted, “Anushka has not been approached for the film yet.”

Well, it seems the filmmaker is going to surprise us with the lady who would replace Deepika. Don’t you think it would be a delight to watch the ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ recreate their magic on screen?
