Anushka Sharma opens up about casting Khans in her production ventures

Anushka Sharma is one the actresses who have been lucky enough to work with all the three Khans - Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan. The actress has continually worked with A-list actors and also shares an amazing rapport with all her co-stars.

The actress, who is also a producer, have produced two bankable projects that made decent monies at the Box Office. However, Anushka reveals that she has no plans to cast the Khans anytime soon in any of her production ventures. "Right now, fitting in superstars in the stories that we are telling, is difficult. Both 'Phillauri' and 'NH10' didn’t require superstar heroes," said Anushka when asked about casting Khans in her next production.

Not taking away the possibility, Anushka adds, "For us, everything begins from the script. Tomorrow, we could write a script that might require a huge budget. If I feel that’s a role that fits the Khans or any other big star, I will definitely pitch the film to them. It has to be the correct part to offer them."

"I cannot write a film for an actor. I will never do that. It will always have to be the other way round. We write the script and then take a call on who we feel will be able to do justice to that film. That’s the right way of working. Sometimes, when you work the other way round, you can mess up things. Many films haven’t done well because of that reason," the actress further elaborates.

When asked about Salman joining hands with Karan Johar on a project that will star Akshay Kumar, Anushka quipped, "I am happy that we are gradually moving towards achieving a stage where it’s not a game of egos and insecurities anymore."
