John Abraham starring ‘Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran’ is trying to find a release date for the movie. Due to the release of ‘Padmaavat’ on 25th January, other movie releases have been sifted which were supposed to release in the next two months. ‘Pari’ starring Anushka Sharma has been shifted from February 9 to March 2.

The film was pushed from December 8th to avoid the clash with ‘Padmaavat’ earlier as well. Later it was decided that the film will release on February 23, along with Rani Mukerji’s ‘Hichki’. But recently Vashi Bhagnani has announced his next ‘Boom Boom In New York’ starring Sonakshi Sinha and Diljit Dosanjh, will also release on the same date.

Now, trade sources tell us that the makers of ‘Parmanu’ plan to change the release date for the third time. A source said, “A three-way clash will hamper the movie’s business and nobody wants to lose money. Plus, KriArj has just announced that ‘Pari’ is coming on March 2, so it doesn’t make sense for them to have two films releasing back-to-back. Ideally, the makers want a fortnight’s gap in between their movies. Reportedly, John wasn’t too happy to leave the December 8 spot as well. So, it will take a bit of convincing but he should understand the scenario and think about what serves his film best.”
