Arjun Kapoor-Parineeti Chopra to star in Dibakar Banerjee’s next!

Parineeti Chopra and Arjun Kapoor's last outing together on the silver screen was five years back when the two did Habib Faisal's 'Ishaqzaade' together. The film that also marked Arjun's Bollywood debut turned out to be quite a hit at the Box Office. Parineeti also got a special mention at the National Film Awards for the film.

And now, a leading tabloid report suggests that the two are all set to share screen space again in Dibakar Banerjee's next. A close source informed the tabloid, "Arjun had loved the script and given his nod but had not signed on the dotted line. Dibakar was still working on the final draft and wanted Parineeti as the leading lady. By January, both the actors were onboard."

The untitled film is an action-romance drama which has been in the pipeline for almost six months. Dibakar met Arjun in November last year to narrate the script. Set in the badlands of Haryana, the gritty thriller will see Arjun play the role of a Haryanvi inspector.

The makers plan to start prepping for the film by next month as the film goes on floors by mid-2017. Parineeti is currently shooting for 'Golmaal Again', whereas Arjun is awaiting the release of his next 'Mubarakan'. The two are extremely excited to work together!
