Arjun Rampal admits he didn’t think Shraddha would fit in Rock On 2

‘Rock On 2’ is all set to hit the silver screens. The cast this time is more or less the same as it’s prequel ‘Rock On’, except for two new additions. Shraddha Kapoor and Shashank Ghosh will be seen in the upcoming musical drama as well and currently the entire cast is on a tight schedule promoting the movie.
At one of the promotional events, Arjun Rampal made a rather interesting revelation:
"Initially, I wondered how this girl is going to fit in because she is from a different generation but that is the part of the film's story. She comes from a different generation and joins the band to find her way. When they told me that Shraddha is going to do the role, at that point I had not really seen any of her movies or interacted with her. But when I heard what she has done with her vocals, it was very encouraging. It's amazing how this new generation of kids is so focused. They understand everything. She has been a huge fan of Rock On. We all spent a lot of time together shooting in Shillong and later in Mumbai where I got to know Shraddha really well. She is the perfect band member. She has unbelievable screen and stage presence and is super confident without being overconfident.", said Rampal
