Athiya Shetty reacts to dating rumours with Arjun Kapoor

As Athiya Shetty and Arjun Kapoor started shooting for 'Mubarakan', rumour mills went abuzz with the reports of an alleged relationship between the two. While the dating rumours fizzled out soon, Arjun and Athiya were time and again questioned about their equation.

The two though have continually denied of a relationship, Athiya and Arjun spotted spending quality time together only further fueled their dating rumours. Recently, when Athiya was asked about the rumours, the actress not only denied the reports but also stated that her friendship with Arjun dates back to the time she wasn't a part of the industry.

Athiya said, "This rumour has become very boring now. I don't take it too seriously. I know Arjun very well. I have known him before the movie's shooting even started. His sister Anshula Kapoor and I are very close friends. Our equation might be new for you but it isn't for us. I have known Arjun since the beginning itself, hence the rumours became a very big thing."

Talking about her experience of working in the movie, Athiya concluded, "I feel blessed to be here. It is my second film. I am proud of myself. Had a fab journey and I learnt so much watching and observing. Anees [Bazmee] sir, Ileana, Arjun, it was amazing working with them."

Well, the rumours about Athiya and Arjun dating can now be put to rest!
